This work is called “Small bundle of Twigs with Rust Wrap”, and is made from glass, waxed linen, lusters, copper and steel. Elizabeth Mears creates work of surprising beauty and depth. She transforms glass into branches, which she then makes into bundles, or shelters. Ms Mears states “My glass leads me on a journey of creative meditation.Nestled in the hardwoods of Virginia,my studio doors open to welcome each season.”
