Hi everyone! I am working on a new large painting today. How did I get that texture, the grid like lines in the orange area, you ask? I began by painting a layer of grey, fusing it, and then painting orange over this layer. Then I used a metal tool to scrape out the lines, which I next filled with clear beeswax. Then, one final layer of clear beeswax over it all. Isn’t it fun working in encaustic?
