

“Balancing on Ice’, encaustic with digital emulsion transfers, 14″x42” ($2500) is hanging now at the TAG gallery, in the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria Virginia until July 16 , from 11am-6pm Monday-Sunday.
The artwork shows a baby sitting on an ice flow playing with his toy car. On his left, sits a polar bear on an ice flow. On his right shows a walrus sitting on another ice flow. The far right and left depict catastrophic weather. It’s a solemn piece for a a time of rising oceans, weird weather patterns, and extreme temperatures.
