This painting sports a vintage doll dress, which has been dipped in wax and attached to a cradled panel. On the left side of the panel, buttons from the Suffragist era appear with slogans. Other vintage glass buttons decorate this work.
On the right side of the panel, a vintage postcard depicts a beautiful scene.
Women marching for the right to vote in the early 1900’s often dressed up for the occasion, wearing their best clothes and carrying flowers in their hands. The marches also featured women on horses, floats, and other beautiful sights.
