Who has been making my art videos?

     It takes a surprising amount of work to make a two minute art video. Lucky for me, I’m surrounded by creative people.  My husband makes films, so he can shoot and edit the videos.  My daughter writes and performs music, so that’s covered.  That leaves me to write the script and be the “talent” – not my favorite job!
     It helps to have talented friends. But even if you don’t, there’s always a way.  These days, everyone has a movie studio in their pocket – just set video mode on your phone!  And you don’t know a musician? You can always buy inexpensive music at a site like Pond5.
     And if you find that you love making videos, you can always join a team for a 48 Hour Film Project competition, where you make a short film in a weekend. It’s a great way to gain new friends, have fun, and learn how movies are made.  That’s how we got started.
