“Spring,” encaustic mixed media, 14″x42″
A child stand holding a leaf on an ideal spring day. Clouds move across the sky, plants bloom and fields are plowed. To the right and left, we see the new spring of Global Warming. As I have seen in Virginia, some spring days now have extreme snowfalls, or extreme rain which leads to flooding.
Small wax suns hang from the bottom of the work.
